Carly Steben is a Montreal based dancer and instructor. Bringing over 20 years of diverse dance experience, spanning styles from hip hop to house, she now shines as a recognized specialist in heels. Her impressive portfolio includes work in music videos for Brittany Kennel, live stage performances with Nelly Furtado and Tynomi Banks, and television appearances on shows like The Bold Type.
Driven now by her passion for teaching and choreography, for the past 8 years Carly has been a leading heels instructor in Montreal, playing a pivotal role in the growth and popularity of heels dance within the community. With extensive training under Canadian dance industry icons such as Sarah Steben, Jessica Cummings, and Mel Charlot and the opportunity to learn from world renowned heels instructors such as Yanis Marshall, Aisha Francis, and Galen Hooks, Carly has developed her own unique style of choreography and knowledge sharing.
Carly’s teaching philosophy revolves around creating an inclusive and fun learning environment that emphasizes technique and a profound respect for the art of dance.
