Sigrid (she/her) has been passionate about dance since the age of three, beginning with recreational jazz and contemporary training at Main Street Dancers in Edmundston, NB. Over time, her passion increasingly leaned toward hip-hop and Afro styles, and she continued to develop her skills in those styles, eventually joining the UNB Reds Dance Team for three years in 2021. She was given the opportunity to perform competitively and choreograph large group, small group, and trio pieces. Now on the cusp of graduating from medical school, she hopes to permanently move to Halifax and continue to refine her craft at House of Eights. With one showcase under her belt and hopefully many more to come, she aims to remain actively engaged in the dance community, while further developing her artistry and sharing her creativity through teaching and collaboration.
