Thalyta is a Brazilian dancer, performer, choreographer, and instructor with over a decade of experience in dance education and performing arts. Her dance journey began at a very young age, and at age 14 she graduated in Classical Ballet training. Soon after, she started teaching volunteer dance classes in underserved communities, an experience that shaped her belief in dance as a tool for connection and transformation.
At 17, she became a partner at a dance studio in Brazil, where she continues to collaborate today. Throughout her career, she pursued further training in Jazz, Contemporary, Tap Dance, and Circus Arts techniques.
At age 20, she graduated in Dramatic Arts and expanded her career into professional acting alongside dance. She entered the Musical Theatre industry, performing in productions such as “La Cage aux Folles”, “Cabaret”, “One Day on Broadway”, “Beauty and the Beast”, and other productions.
Her choreography work received recognition with an award for Best Choreography at a dance festival in Brazil, which led to an invitation for her team to open a dance festival in Europe.
After moving to Canada in 2019, Thalyta continued building her teaching and choreography career, working with The Dance Alliance and O.N.E. Dance Centre. She also collaborated directly with teams connected to renowned ice dancer Scott Moir, supporting performers in developing stronger stage presence and artistic expression.
Today, Thalyta continues sharing her passion for movement through classes that combine technique, artistry, confidence, and a welcoming environment where students feel empowered to grow.
