Drop-In Passes

Valid for all drop-in classes, any style, any level. Passes have a 12-month expiry unless stated otherwise. If you are waitlisted and don’t get into your class, the pass remains on your account to use for a future class. No refunds.

Memberships

We offer over 25 drop-in classes a week in over a dozen styles of choreography classes, beginner to advanced. With all our memberships, you’ll get access to perks such as members-only discounts, events, and private IG Close Friends group.

4 Class Monthly Membership

Perfect if you take an average of 1 class per week. Activates upon sale date and renews monthly forever until terminated. Unused classes roll over for up to 1 month. Minimum 2 month commitment.

Additional Information

New to the studio

Pricing does not include tax.

  • Please arrive no more than 5 minutes before classes and be ready to dance. Please let the instructor know of any injuries, pregnancy or health conditions before class begins. If you have tested positive for Covid-19, please do not come to the studio until you are feeling better.
  • Our studio only accepts credit cards or e-transfer. We cannot accept cash payments unless it is exact as we do not carry change. You have the option of saving your credit card number on file.
  • House of eights is in no way responsible for lost, damaged or stolen items.
  • Class passes and memberships are not valid for courses or guest workshops, however, members receive 10% off guest classes.
  • Class passes expire 12 months after the date of purchase.

Cancellations and no shows

Drop-ins, class passes, and limited membership holders:

  • If you do not show up for a class or do not cancel within the 4 hour cancellation window, a class will be deducted from your class package or membership.

Unlimited members:

  • If you do not show up for a class or do not cancel within the 4 hour cancellation window, you will be charged a $10 late fee. If you are late to class (10 minutes or more), your spot will be given to someone on standby from the waitlist.

Waitlists

If you are signed up on the waitlist it is your responsibility to check your email for updates on whether or not you have been added to the class. Outside of the 4 hour window you will be automatically added into class and an email will be sent out. Within the 2 hour window, you will be sent an email with an option to opt into class or receive a phone call. You must confirm your spot in the class within this window in order to reserve a space. Please ensure you add our email into your contacts so emails sent do not end up in junk mail.

Late Arrival

Late arrival will only be welcomed into class up to 10 minutes after the beginning of class. Anyone arriving after 10 minutes will not be allowed to join class as it is disruptive to the teacher and students, and your spot will be given to any students on standby in our lobby waiting for a spot. It is your responsibility to ensure you check in with the front desk or teacher or you may be marked as a no show and charged the cancellation fee.

Walk-ins

Walk-ins are welcome, however we cannot guarantee a spot and always encourage you to book ahead online.

Returns and refunds

All passes and memberships purchased are non-refundable. Unused passes can be transferred to another client. We only refund payments for guest masterclasses and workshops if the class is canceled or if it’s rescheduled and you’re unable to attend the revised date/time.

Unpaid classes & declined payment

If you have a recurring payment (I.E. Membership) and your card is declined, you will be sent an email reminding you to update your payment information. If declined for a third time (I.E. 3 days in a row), you will receive an email alerting you that your membership will be put on pause and you will be removed from any classes you had scheduled moving forward until you update your card on file.
