Dance Styles / Hip Hop
Keenan Oliver began his dance journey at the age of 4 at Maritime Dance Academy, where he received foundational training in ballet, tap, jazz, modern, and hip-hop. His dedication and talent have earned him numerous top marks, placements, and scholarships in various competitions, including a To Be Discovered scholarship and a Standout Win at the 2022 Mercy Dance Finals, recognizing his kindness towards others and his passion for dance.
Currently, Keenan is an active member of Dalhousie University’s Black & Gold Dance Team. In addition to his role with the team, he is working with Rooted Dance Projects on their latest Youth Project. He has also recently completed a music video for the theme song of the rebooted Canadian TV series “The Raccoons.”
Along with his academic pursuits and his passion for dance, he is dedicated to connecting with fellow dancers and continually exploring new heights in Choreography and Dance.
