Keenan Cooks was born and raised in Boston, MA and began dancing at  the age of 14. In 2008, Keenan moved to New York City to pursue dance professionally.

Since moving to New York City he has worked with numerous artists as a dancer including Dua Lipa, Jennifer Lopez, Nicki Minaj, Ne-Yo, Kendrick Lamar,  Prince Royce, Maluma, Halsey, BTS, Panic! At the Disco, and Khalid. As a choreographer, Keenan has worked with Cardi B, Meek Mill, David Guetta, J Balvin,  Bebe Rexha, Yo Gotti, Lizzo, Ari Lennox, Kelly Rowland, and Ice Spice.

You may have seen his choreography on Saturday Night Live, The Tonight show with Jimmy Fallon, BET Awards, VMA’s Lip Sync Battles, Nike, NBC’s Blindspot, Dol by, and more. Keenan has taught internationally in Japan, South Korea, China,  Peru, Spain, Germany, Paris, Argentina, London, Switzerland, Israel, Mexico and South Africa. He is also on faculty at New York City’s top Studio, Broadway Dance Center, and is on guest faculty at Millennium Dance Complex in Los Angeles.
