Kaela is known for her effortless ability to embrace movement. Her innovative style is performed with honesty, clarity and true passion, derived from her attention to details, musicality and texture. Kaela had a natural love for dance at a very young age, but only enrolled in dance classes at the age of eleven. Kaela quickly grew to learn the foundation of ballet, jazz, contemporary and hip hop and began competing at the national and international level. Her training proved successful when she was honoured to be one of the very few dancers accepted into Ryerson University’s dance program. While at Ryerson University, kaela trained in ballet, jazz and modern under many acclaimed faculty members from the national ballet and the Toronto dance theatre. Kaela continued to pursue dance at the professional level following Ryerson University, which lead her to work with many reputable dancers and choreographers in the dance industry.
iHeart Radio Music Awards, MMVAs, TIFF, Fashion Art Toronto, Calgary Stampede, Grey Cup, Much Music’s Best Dance Crew, Luminato Festival, Summer Rush, and the Pan Am Games opening ceremony. She danced in music videos with many international artists such as Rihanna, Drake, Snoop Dogg, Nelly Furtado, Shawn Desman, and Shawn Mendes, to name a few. She has worked with artists on numerous live and touring performances including Nick Jonas, Fifth Harmony, Mya, Estelle, Flo Rida, Carly Rae Jepson, and many more. In 2016, Kaela incorporated her heels company, Sensual Heeling, where she trains women and men how to exude confidence in their heels. Kaela’s knowledge and understanding of heels is extensive and her passion and talent is undeniable.
