David Thomas was born and raised in the heart of Hip Hop, the Bronx. In 2002, at age 13 David decided to form his own dance company, which would later be known as WRT “The Collective (“We Run This”).
David began to set his mark starting his professional dance & choreography career in 2008. Working and training closely with some of the dance industry’s Hottest such as Hollywood, Candace Brown, Luam, Rhapsody James, Luther Brown, Sean Bankhead, Tony Tzar, Soraya Lundy, Shirlene Quigley to name a few. Performing for Pharrell Williams “Girl” Campaign, Fox network the Four’s Sharaya J, and the MTV vmas with Travis Scott. Choreographing alongside Bessie award winner Soledad Barrio & Noche Flamenca dance co. & choreographer for Atlantic Records artist IV Jay. He has taught all over the globe including Israel, Russia, China, Dominican Republic, Los Angeles, Washington DC, Boston, Atlanta. He teaches at many renowned NYC studios including Broadway Dance Center, Peridance Capezio Center, & the Alvin Ailey Extension.
