Let's get to know each other
A relaxed half hour with our team. We show you the studio, get to know you and your goals, and point you to the right starting place, with zero pressure to commit to anything.
Free · 30 minutes · In person or by phone
House of Eights is a drop-in dance studio on Sackville Street in downtown Halifax. An info session is the easiest way to get to know us: a free, no-obligation conversation where we show you our space, hear what you are looking for, and figure out how we can help.
It is not a trial class and there is nothing to keep up with. Whether you are thinking about classes, curious about private lessons, or want to see the space before renting it, we will walk you through your options and answer every question you have.
Sessions run about 30 minutes. Come see us in person for the full tour, or book a phone call if that is easier.
Choose an in-person visit or a phone call, pick a date, and hit Search. Both are free and take about 30 minutes.
Curious about dance but not sure where to start? We will walk you through the styles, the schedule, and the passes, and point you to the classes that fit you best.

About renting the studioThirty minutes, three parts, zero pressure.
We show you around: the studios, the lounge, and where everything happens. On a phone session we skip the walking and just talk.
We get to know you: your goals, your schedule, your budget, and what you are curious about. No dance experience required.
You leave with clear recommendations, whether that is the right classes to start with, a private lesson plan, or rental details.
No, this is a conversation and a tour, not a trial class. We get to know you, show you the space, and come up with recommendations for you.
