Having started my dance journey as an adult, I understand the excitement and challenges that come with learning something new. At House of Eights, we believe that dance is for everyone, and we’re here to support you every step of the way.
We’re more than just a dance studio. House of Eights is a space where you can make friends, pursue your dreams, and express yourself freely. We were created by the community, for the community, and we can’t wait to be part of your dance journey.

For first time students, buy 2 weeks of unlimited classes for just $59, then book your classes.
Not sure which level is right for you? We’ve got you covered. From hip hop to contemporary, we offers a range of dance styles in various levels.
New to dancing and nervous about choreography? This class is the perfect starting point! Tailored for absolute beginners, it covers the basics and helps you develop a strong foundation in a fun, supportive atmosphere. Emphasis will be on learning and practicing foundations.
No prior experience required!
Open to adults ages 14 and up.
Want to start learning choreography? Our Beginner classes build on the basics from our Intro classes, introducing simple routines to help you develop your retention, technique, and performance skills. It’s perfect for anyone eager to enjoy dancing beginner-friendly choreography, whether you have little or no dance experience. While not required, taking our Intro L0 classes can make picking up choreography easier by laying a solid foundation.
Recommended experience: 0-2 years.
Learn more complex choreography in our intermediate classes, where you’ll start focusing more on musicality, textures, and performance. Perfect for those seeking to elevate their performance abilities and choreo pick-up skills.
Recommended experience: 2-4 years.
Open to adults ages 14 and up.
This class is for experienced dancers with a solid foundation and strong choreo pick-up skills, who are ready to challenge themselves in a fast-paced setting.
Recommended experience: 4+ years.

Our Open level class accommodates various experience levels, offering a supportive environment for growth and exploration at any stage of your dance journey. Variations are given for different skill levels, so that everyone is challenged appropriately.
Recommended experience: all levels welcome!

Our Youth Drop-in Classes offer kids ages 8-13 a fun way to learn new moves and build confidence! Each week, students will work on foundational steps, learn new skills, and practice fun choreography routines. While drop-ins are welcome, weekly attendance will help students level up their skills and confidence!
Recommended experience: all levels welcome!

Help us maintain a clean and supportive space
Outdoor shoes are not allowed in the studios. Please wear appropriate footwear and comfortable clothes.
Enter the studio only after the prior class has finished.
Be respectful of others. Avoid talking during instruction and limit phone use to breaks or after class.
Be mindful of space. Stagger yourselves so everyone has space to move and can see themselves in the mirror.
Arrive on time. Aim to be at least 5 minutes early; latecomers 15 minutes or more after class starts will not be admitted.
Remember to have fun and enjoy yourself! Support and encourage others for a positive and inclusive environment.
Our front desk staff will give you a quick tour of our space when you come for your first visit, but here’s a few things to know ahead of time to help you plan ahead.
Registration opens one week before class starts. Sign up early to guarantee your spot!
Whatever makes you feel most comfortable! We recommend loose fitting clothing and clean indoor shoes (or socks or heels, depending on the class). Outdoor shoes are not allowed in-studio. We have multiple change rooms and washrooms for your convenience.
We welcome dancers ages 14 and over in most classes. Heels is for adults 18+. Youth drop-ins for ages 8-13.
Filming is totally optional. Our instructors will notify the class before filming starts, and you can choose to either participate or watch and cheer from the side. Filming helps us promote our classes and is a great tool to track your progress but is entirely up to you. Please note that any videos videos or photos we film may be used for promotional purposes on social media. If you share class videos online, tag us @houseofeights and your instructor—we’d love to see your growth!
You can download class videos on our app or the link in our Instagram bio. The password changes on the 1st of each month; the password can be found on the board in our hallway or just message us via email or Instagram for the password.
