About the style

Originating in late 1990s Puerto Rico, reggaeton is a vibrant style deeply influenced by Latin American, Caribbean, and hip hop music. Known for its fun, free-spirited vibe, it blends inspiration from styles such as hip hop, salsa, bachata, house, and dancehall.

Choreography classes begin with a warm up, including drills such as basic grooves, body rolls, and isolations, followed by energetic combos. Expect great music, plenty of rhythm, and a confident, playful atmosphere.

What to bring

  • Comfortable, breathable clothing with optional layers for warm-up.
  • Clean, indoor sneakers.
  • Refillable water bottle.
  • Small sweat towel, if desired.
