Book ahead on our app or website. Registration opens one week before each class, and space is first come, first served. Just make sure you have an active membership or pass first.
Walk-ins are welcome when there’s space, but a spot is never guaranteed. Booking ahead is the only way to hold your place.
Drop-in classes are for adults 18+ and teens 14+ with parental consent. Select mature classes, like Heels and Reggaeton, are 18+ only. Youth drop-ins are for ages 8–13.
If a class has 4 or fewer people registered 2 hours before the start time, it may be cancelled. Book ahead so we can reach you with any updates.
When a class is full, you can join the waitlist. More than 2 hours before class, you’ll be added automatically when a spot opens and emailed to let you know. Within 2 hours of class, you’ll get an email with the option to claim the spot. If no spot opens up, your pass goes right back on your account.
If the app asks for a pre-requisite when you book, your date of birth is likely missing from your profile. Add it, refresh, and try again.
Cancel more than 2 hours before class starts and your session goes right back on your account to use another time.
Cancel within 2 hours of the start time and it counts as a late cancellation. That session is deducted from your account.
Classes are non-refundable and non-transferable. Early cancellations are always credited back to your account instead.
If we ever cancel classes for weather, we’ll post on Instagram @houseofeights and email everyone signed up. Sessions from cancelled classes go right back on your account.
To pause or cancel a membership, fill out the Membership Management Form before your next billing date and our team will take care of it.
Drop-in passes are valid for 1 year from purchase.
Need more time? Extensions add 30 days to a pass. The first extension is free, and each one after that has a $5 administrative fee per pass. You can extend as many times as you need.
Unused drop-ins on memberships roll over to the next month, as long as your membership stays active.
No outdoor shoes in the studios. Wear clean indoor footwear and comfortable clothes you can move in.
Arrive about 5 minutes early to sign in and get settled. We can’t admit students more than 15 minutes after class starts: it makes sure you get a proper warm-up and keeps the class from being disrupted. After that point your spot may go to someone on standby and it counts as a late cancellation.
Enter the studio only after the previous class has finished.
Be mindful of space. Stagger yourselves so everyone has room to move and can see themselves in the mirror.
Be respectful of others. Save conversations and phone use for breaks or after class.
Most of all, have fun and encourage the people around you. Our codes of conduct cover how we keep the studio a safe, welcoming space for everyone.
Most choreography classes end with the option to dance in small groups and film the routine. Filming is a great way to track your progress, and totally optional. Join in or cheer from the side.
Download your class videos through our app or the class videos portal with the special monthly password.
Videos and photos captured on our studio cameras may be used for promotion on our social media.
